The Program

Six Wealth Wednesdays. One Wealth Summit.

Six Wealth Wednesdays, 120 minutes each, with the same 12 women, and the Money Isn't Lucky Summit at the midpoint. Each session pairs two themes, and the weeks between sessions are where the real work happens: a project, a short list of homework, and support while you do it.

The Arc of the Program

  1. WorthSessions 1 and 2
  2. Use and EarnSession 3
  3. GrowSession 4
  4. Protect and LeadSessions 5 and 6

Sessions run in this order, January to April, with the Money Isn't Lucky Summit on March 17 between Sessions 3 and 4. The program closes on April 21.

Between Sessions

Sessions are one to four weeks apart. The time in between is built in, not left empty:

A project
One piece of real work between sessions, like your money story, your financial snapshot, or your debt plan. You bring it to the next session.
Homework
Two or three short tasks: a conversation, an ask, an audit. Small enough to finish, big enough to matter.
An accountability partner
You're paired with another woman in the cohort for a short check-in between sessions.
Office hours and check-ins
A 20-minute office hour with Becky (educational Q&A, not advice) and a 20-minute check-in with Amy, each month of the program.

Session 1 · Wednesday, January 27 · Worth · Led by Amy, with Becky

Your Money Story and Your Whole Worth

Where did your beliefs about money come from, and why does your paycheck get all the credit?

Your Money Story

How family money dynamics shape adult behavior. The four spectrums: saver or spender, security or opportunity, private or open, fascinated or obligated. Naming the "I'm not a numbers person" story and where it came from.

Tool Money Story Timeline and a money-dynamics self-gauge

The Whole Worth Picture

Why "earn your worth" is a trap. Taking stock of the roles you hold (earner, mother, partner, caregiver, friend, community builder, leader) and the value each one creates. The difference between self-worth and net worth.

Tool Whole Worth Inventory

Before Session 2

Project Write your money story in one page, and finish your Whole Worth Inventory. Bring both to Session 2.

  • Have one conversation with someone in your life about a role you've been undervaluing.
  • Notice one money moment before the next session that your old story would have narrated, and jot down what it said.

Session 2 · Wednesday, February 17 · Worth and Use · Led by Becky

Values Before Numbers, and Your Numbers, Finally

What is the money for, and what do you actually have, owe, earn, and spend?

Values Before Numbers

A values-clarification exercise (your top five, forced ranking). Translating values into a short list of financial priorities. Why a budget built on someone else's values never sticks.

Tool Values & Vision worksheet

Your Numbers, Finally

Building a one-page personal balance sheet. Reading a cash flow statement without flinching. The five numbers to know cold: net worth, monthly burn, savings rate, debt cost, and months of runway.

Tool One-Page Financial Snapshot (fillable)

Before Session 3

Project Complete your One-Page Financial Snapshot. It's the most important homework of the program, and nobody has to share it.

  • Write down your five values and the three money decisions that should flow from them.
  • Gather your statements (accounts, debts, insurance) into one place so the snapshot is real, not a guess.

Session 3 · Wednesday, March 3 · Use and Earn · Led by Becky and Amy

Spending on Purpose, and Asking for More

Does your spending look like your values, and how do you ask for more without tying your identity to the answer?

Spending on Purpose

Intentional spending frameworks (not restriction). Fixed, flexible, and future buckets. The emotional side of spending and how to notice it without shame. Aligning household spending when a partner is involved.

Tool Values-Aligned Spending Plan

Earning, Asking, and Negotiating

Negotiating salary, rates, and roles. Pricing your work if you own a business. Separating the ask from your worth, so a "no" doesn't become a verdict on you. Advocating for yourself in a room.

Tool The Ask Script and a market-rate research checklist

Before Session 4

Project Run a 30-day spending plan, and make one real ask before Session 4. The group holds you to it.

  • Make one "intentional yes" purchase you've been guilt-tripping yourself about.
  • Research the market rate for your work using the checklist, before you make your ask.

Money Isn't Lucky: The Wealth Summit

I'm not merely lucky. No one who succeeds is merely lucky. Lucky implies I didn't do anything. Lucky implies something was given to me. Lucky implies that I was handed something I did not earn, that I did not work hard for. I am not lucky. You know what I am? I am smart, talented, I take advantage of the opportunities that come my way and I work really, really hard. Don't call me lucky. Call me a badass.
Shonda Rhimes, Year of Yes

Money Is Intentional

Why the women who seem lucky with money are usually intentional with it. How beliefs become choices, and choices become patterns. We explore the law of attraction and the psychology of mindset, and what it looks like to act on an intention instead of waiting on luck.

Mindset in Practice

Turning intention into daily practice: what you notice, what you say yes to, and who you surround yourself with. Why owning your wealth changes the people and resources you draw toward you. The Summit opens the room to 24 women, so the conversation gets bigger.

The Summit seats 24: the 12 women of the cohort, whose tickets are included in tuition, and 12 women from outside it. Outside tickets are $777.

Session 4 · Wednesday, March 31 · Grow · Led by Becky

Debt, Credit, and How Investing Actually Works

When is debt a tool and when is it a trap, and what is the stock market, really?

Debt, Credit, and Leverage

Good debt and bad debt. How interest actually works. Credit scores, demystified. Paying down debt in an order that matches your values and your math. Using leverage deliberately instead of sliding into it.

Tool Debt Map and payoff sequencer

How Investing Actually Works

Compounding, time horizon, risk and volatility, diversification, and fees. The difference between saving and investing. What the account types are for (401(k), IRA, Roth, brokerage) at a concept level. Educational only: no products and no recommendations.

Tool Investing Vocabulary Cheat Sheet and a time-horizon map

Before Session 5

Project Write your debt plan, with dates, using your Debt Map.

  • List every account you have and what each one is for.
  • Pull your free credit report and read it once, start to finish.

Session 5 · Wednesday, April 7 · Protect · Led by Becky, with Amy

Protecting What You've Built, and Money with the People You Love

If something happened tomorrow, who would it land on, and how do you talk about money with your family?

Protecting What You've Built

The protection stack at a concept level: emergency reserves, insurance categories and what each covers, beneficiary designations, and account titling. The documents every adult should keep current (will, powers of attorney, healthcare directive) and why reviewing them is planning, not legal work.

Tool Protection Checklist and a beneficiary audit template

Money, Partners, and Family

Money conversations with a partner (merged, separate, or hybrid). Raising money-literate kids. Aging parents and the sandwich generation. Boundaries with family around money. What fair looks like when roles are unequal.

Tool Family Money Conversation Guide

Before Session 6

Project Audit every beneficiary designation you have, and work through the Protection Checklist. Note what you'd take to your own attorney or advisor.

  • Have one of the money conversations you've been avoiding.
  • Find where your important documents live, and make sure one trusted person knows too.

Session 6 · Wednesday, April 21 · All four · Led by Amy and Becky

Ownership, Stewardship, and Your Next Chapter

What would it take to own something that pays you, and who are you now with money?

Business, Side Income, and Ownership

The economics of owning: a business, a rental, a stake. What "the business is the asset" means. Thinking like an owner even as an employee. When a side venture is worth it.

Tool Ownership Readiness Worksheet

Stewardship and Your Next Chapter

Revisiting your Session 1 money story and rewriting it. A one-year plan with quarterly checkpoints. Giving, legacy, and community impact as part of stewardship. Building your own support system beyond the cohort.

Tool One-Year Stewardship Plan and a letter to yourself

To finish

Project Finish your One-Year Stewardship Plan, with its quarterly checkpoints, and write the letter to yourself.

  • Size one ownership idea honestly using the readiness worksheet.
  • Put your first quarterly checkpoint on your calendar before you leave the room.

Closing The program closes together on April 21: your rewritten money story, your plan, and a celebration of what you've built. Then alumnae status, and an invitation to return to the next cohort's Session 1 as a guest voice.
